Cadogan receives prestigious award to recognise its efforts during the pandemic

Cadogan has been named winner of the ‘Best Covid Response’ at the Property Week Awards ceremony, recognising its efforts to support the local community during the pandemic and into the recovery stages.

On the reasons behind the award win, a spokesperson from the Property Week judging panel said “The judges felt Cadogan demonstrated that they were extremely proactive and responsive in fully supporting all of their occupiers, as well as the wider community and the NHS. The support Cadogan have offered shows that they have created an attractive brand in drawing new businesses throughout. Their structured approach was said to serve short, medium and longer term challenges, including the launch of an ongoing sustainability strategy”

The prestigious Property Awards are the UK’s leading industry awards and are dedicated to celebrating the full spectrum of the commercial property industry. The ‘Covid Response’ award was a new category, created to ‘recognise the many businesses, organisations and individuals (who) responded quickly, boldly and with great ingenuity to the crisis and have, against the odds, achieved success in the most challenging market of recent times’.

Hugh Seaborn, Chief Executive, Cadogan comments: “This is a particularly poignant award for us – as long-term stewards of Chelsea, our community means everything. During such a challenging time the team worked hard to put the safety and wellbeing of our neighbourhood first, while looking towards a more sustainable and inclusive future. Enormous thanks to the Property Awards for recognising this and our fantastic community for coming together and demonstrating such resilience.”
