Organised by Cadogan, the packed event schedule included traditional childhood fête activities, such as garden games, face painting and live music programmed by Cadogan Hall.
Pavilion Road was also home to a delicious BBQ offering the ‘Pavilion Burger’ and pop-up food and drink stalls from the street’s artisan food shops, while Duke of York Square played host to the Chelsea Pensioners’ very own pottery stall and the National Army Museum’s ‘Build A Bridge’ challenge for children.
The Chelsea Summer Fête included a tombola raffle, which featured prizes kindly donated by the area’s local stores, hotels and restaurants, including generous hampers, spa treatments and bespoke beauty gifts. All funds raised were donated to the Royal Hospital Chelsea and the Kensington & Chelsea Foundation, which works with grassroots charities across the borough.
